This aircraft was assigned to 412th BS 95th BG Horham 18/6/1943
After bombing Augsberg, Germany, piloted by 2nd Lt Harvey Johnson, it made a forced landing at Altenheim, Switzerland 13/4/1944 at 15.40 hours , two of the crew were interned, the others being made prisoners of war.
Earlier,  Lesley King piloted this aircraft on the Munster raid of  10/10/1943, taking the bomb strike photo shown in Ian Hawkins book “The Munster Raid”.
