This aircraft was assigned to 335th BS 95th BG Horham 26/12/43
It was last seen 4/3/44  over Berlin, piloted by Roehm, with flak damage consisting of a hole in one wing and an engine out of action.

The crew bailed out over the region of Avesnes, Cambria, Saint Quentin, France and the aircraft crashed at Saint Symphorien in Belgium.

One crew member, tail gunner John Wesp was killed and is buried at Saint Laurent ( Omaha Beach ).
Of the remaining crew, six were captured and three evaded capture.

Thanks to Phillipe Save for the detailed information, Phillipe met the co-pilot, David Wolter, Tom Yankus ( radio operator ), and Don Egan ( bombardier ) at the crash site in 2004.
